Land of No Return

Supernatural Drama/Horror

Synopsis: In a San Francisco museum of Near East History, an exhibition of ancient Sumerian cuneiform tablets is about to open. Restoration workers have put together the notorious Sumerian clay mural, Gate Ganzir, which supposedly was the door to the Netherworld. The mythical Gate was composed of human bones, clay and human blood, and therefore the same elements must be used in the restoration of the Gate.

Josh Hastings, 12, is on a school trip to the museum. Unintentionally, he triggers the mystery of the mural, freeing Azack, a Shaman from the distant past who traded his soul to the underworld’s Queen Ereshkigal, to save his son’s life thousands of years ago.

The ancient Sumerian prophecy once proclaimed, “A man can only escape from the Land of No Return, if he brings his replacement”. Therefore, Shaman Azack, out on a hunt for his dead son’s replacement, realizes that Josh fits in his place perfectly.

Meanwhile, a police officer, Timothy Daylong, asks Josh Hastings’ father Dr. Dale Hastings, a renowned expert histologist, to help investigate a string of unusual murders only to discover that they have to deal with something supernatural and it directly involves Dale’s son Josh.

Dale and Azack, both fathers, begin the fight for their sons’ lives but they stand on opposite sides of light and darkness.
